Hidden restaurants are hard to come by nowadays. Normally, when a restaurant is that good, word of mouth spreads faster than wildfire. Yet, in our great state of Georgia, there still remains quite a few untapped resources in terms of great restaurants. These secret spots haven’t become mainstream in their menu, nor do some of them boast much of a grand entrance. But we’re here to let you in on a little secret (…or maybe 10 of them…)

In the basement of Churchill’s Pub is Winston’s Wine Bar. It’s a place where you can grab a glass of wine and eat some delicious apps, without the British pub feel. Many people don’t know Winston’s even exists, but all it takes is a quick jaunt down the stairs and you’re there.

A lot of patrons believe Ziba’s Bistro to be one heck of a well kept secret. Not only is the quality of the food absolutely delicious (fresh hummus!), but also the atmosphere and service are stellar, too. It’s a great secret spot to get some delicious eats no matter the time of day.

A secret restaurant within a restaurant—that’s how they describe Octopus Bar. A secret spot deep inside So Ba Vietnamese Restaurant, Octopus Bar has some delectable late night eats, plus graffiti-filled walls, and laid back hip hop playing in the background.

This underground lounge and restaurant is the perfect secret spot to hang and listen to some local jazz. Not to mention grab a bite to eat and a few cocktails. Most people walk right on by Jazz’d without realizing it’s there, but maybe now that they know they serve Garlic and Basil Shrimp grits, they’ll hunt this secret spot down.

First of all, who doesn’t love a secret speakeasy?! Eleanor’s Speakeasy is a hidden gem located in the back of Muss & Turner’s behind an unmarked freezer door. Just go through the secret passageway and you’re in on one of Georgia’s best kept secrets. Start with the cheese plate, you won’t be disappointed.
